This study explores the Wugoushui settlement by using CFD simulations to analyze how the surrounding environment affects traditional settlements. It aims to understand how new buildings and extensions within the Wugoushui settlement hinder ventilation, impacting both the preservation of the settlement and the thermal comfort of its residents. The study emphasizes the importance of managing and controlling the environment around historical settlements to maintain ventilation and improve living and preservation conditions.
