Dr Ramona Dalla Pozza is currently the Knowledge Broker for the Climate Systems Hub, coordinating a team of state and territory government knowledge brokers, actively building collaborative partnerships to provide fit-for-purpose future climate information for decision-makers.
She is also the lead of Working Group 3 – Climate Services and User Needs of the National Partnership for Climate Projections. Previously, she has worked predominately in the Queensland and Victorian Governments, leading applied science programs to inform policy and decision-makers managing the impacts of climate.

Building for the Future – considering future weather and extremes in assessing building energy efficiency
Current building energy efficiency modelling for approval of new buildings is assessed using a sample of actual weather data from the past. However, as our climate is changing, and as buildings designed today have an expected life-span of approximately 50 years, building designs need to consider the future climate.
