Formatting instructions for paper contributions
Dear BS 2025 authors,
Please follow these instructions carefully, these are applicable to both Oral and Poster presentation contributions which will be included in the proceeding of the BS 2025 conference:
NAMING CONVENTION for your contribution PDF file, which is ‘ContributionIDnumber_LastNameOfFirstAuthor_BS2025.PDF’. Your contribution ID number should be either four (4) OR five (5) digits beginning with a one (1). Here is an example, 11231_Smith_BS2025.PDF. Your final contribution must not be more than eight (8) pages.
Please fill in (up to) the first nine lines that were left blank during the review process. These are to include author(s) names, followed by affiliations, and the email for the corresponding author (only)
This link will show you an example of the final online version of a paper that was presented in the previous IBPSA international conference, held in Shanghai, China in 2023 – https://doi.org/10.26868/25222708.2023.1140 ; refer to the page view at the end of this internet page. Your final PDF upload must have a similar format, using information for the current (BS 2025) conference to be held in Brisbane, Australia, as described below.
Header (top) Left Hand Side: Insert the logo for the BS 2025 conference that can be downloaded from https://bs2025.org/author-logo-image-downloads/ (logo on the RIGHT side); please download to your computer, then copy, paste and resize as required in your paper header LHS
Header (top) Right Hand Side: Insert the logo for IBPSA that can be downloaded from https://bs2025.org/author-logo-image-downloads/ (logo on the LEFT side); please download to your computer, then copy, paste and resize as required in your paper header RHS
Footer (bottom) Left Hand Side, Line 1: insert the words ‘Proceedings of the 19th IBPSA Conference’
Footer (bottom) Left Hand Side, Line 2: insert the words ‘Brisbane, Australia, Aug 24-27, 2025’
Footer (bottom) Right Hand Side, Line 1: insert page number in four digits, for example 0003 (note, this will be updated by the publications team). Your contribution MUST be NO MORE than eight (8) pages, as per the original instructions. Any extra pages may be deleted
Footer (bottom) Right Hand Side, Line 2: this data is critical for contribution to be easily found. PLEASE ensure this is correct. Please add the following text (it should be text, not a link) https://doi.org/10.26868/25222708.2025.ID ; the ID is your final contribution number which should be either four (4) OR five (5) digits long and should begin with the number 1 (one)
Once these formatting changes are completed, please convert your contribution to a PDF document, and upload to ConfTool as instructed by the Scientific Committee via email.
