UNSW + Tsinghua University workshop after BS2025

UNSW and Tsinghua University are collaborating to run a free workshop in Sydney on August 29 after BS2025. We anticipate it will be of great interest to our conference delegates, so we encourage you to learn more and register to attend.

About the event

You are warmly invited to attend the UNSW-Tsinghua University Workshop, co-hosted by the UNSW School of Built Environment High Performance Architecture Research Cluster and the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University.

This workshop will take place at UNSW Sydney on Friday 29 August 2025, following the Building Simulation Conference (24–27 August 2025, Brisbane). The themes will include but are not limited to: urban heat mitigation & adaptation, climate-resilient buildings and cities, net-zero carbon buildings, advanced modelling and simulation, and AI applications in the built environment.

This workshop will bring together leading academics, industry professionals, and government representatives to communicate research initiatives and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

A Collection (Special Issue) in the Building Simulation journal will be announced in this workshop. All workshop participants are welcome to submit papers to this Collection.
